We celebrated my Dad's 65th birthday last week by having a birthday dinner here in our house with his officemates at PAL/Lufthansa since he'll be retiring at the end of this month.

Yes, I'm still alive. I got fever, colds and all the works since friday. I think I got the virus when I went to the bank that day. That's also my niece nursing a fever. Even my Dad is sick too so we had masks to prevent the virus from spreading all over the house.

I was being bugged by myorangedreams to read the script of Robert Pattinson's new movie 'Remember Me' which has been circulating in the internet for quite some time. I've heard good things about the controversial story so to prevent myself from being spoiled, I finally red it last Sunday.

Got this in Facebook. I usually don't read this kind of things but I did today.

You can tell yourself that you have already decided, that nothing now can stop you, but if that step backwards is so much safer than step forwards, what will hold you true to your path when the going gets tough? Sometimes, the right thing to do is to take that first irreversible step, the one after which you cannot go back. And now, for you, is one of those times.

Hmmmm.... A perfect message for me, right at this moment. Si God talaga... He will really try to reach you in different unexpected ways.

Ok so this is what's like an ordinary day of filming to Robert Pattinson in New York filming his new movie Remember Me. This is what they had to endure just to get to his trailer from the set! Crazy eh? And he was still so nice and all smiling although it seems that they all wanted a piece of him and grabbed him to death.

I wonder if we can do that kind of thing to our favorite asian artists here?!

I should probably start reading the leaked script of Memoirs aka Remember Me before I can read any spoilers. I heard the story had an interesting twist at the end.

There are a few foreign movies that I'm really excited to watch on the big screen. New Moon in November, Robert Pattinson's Remember Me that will be shown in February next year and The Time Traveler's Wife showing this August 14!

If you haven't read the book, I suggest not to watch this to not spoil you because it's better to be surprised while reading it.

I can't wait to watch this not just because I adore the book, but also because of Rachel McAdams, I super love her! She's really perfect for the role of Clare and so is Eric Bana for Henry.

And the bonus part is they play Lifehouse's Broken in the trailer. Love It. Oh please, August come faster!

So last night was a scary moment for me. My brother gave me this cute piggy foot massager that he got last christmas that came with batteries. The batteries seem old & rusty but I still tried to put it in the massager. As I was peeling the plastic on the batteries, something flew right into my right eye. I immediately flushed and diluted my eye with water . But I could still feel the foreign object in my eye and the redness was still there so we decided to have it checked-up.

So we went to the nearest hospital and proceeded to the emergency room. It was really scary in the ER because an injured robber was also inside so there were some police! T____T They assisted me into a small cubicle in the ER and asked me to change my clothes to their hospital gown. They examined my right eye and they said that good thing there were no abrasions but they still flushed my eye with sodium chloride to be sure. The whole process was okay but what a weird feeling flushing my eye with that amount of liquid. They said that I still needed to see an opthalmologist who could examine my eye fully.

So today, we went back to the hospital and the opthalmologist examined my eye and he was able to see the small particle from the battery. Good thing the opthalmologist was gentle and warned me that this would be a weird feeling because he scraped my eye! O__O He was able to get it, thank God. Now I just need to put some anti-bacterial drops every four hours for one week.

Up to now, my right eye feels a little numb because of the scraping at the hospital. All of this just because of that piggy massager! T______T

So I was able to wake up early to catch the live streaming of 2009 MTV Movie Awards. And yes, myorangedreams and I were like squeeing fangirls whenever Twilight won in various categories! I talked to her thru cellphone because she was already on her way to the office, and yes we are so crazy like that. xDDD

It just pissed me so much that whenever Rob received an award, the live streaming will hang! And just in time for the showing of New Moon's official trailer, the streaming totally stopped! Argh.

Oh I love Red Mango's Frozen Yogurt!

Love at first taste. <3 It's like my favorite vanilla ice cream but with a kick! Love the yogurt's tangy taste and different fruit toppings.

Sleep over and Saturday movie date with my good friend Steph last weekend. Shopping and pigging out at Bubba Gump and Cyma, then watched Zac Efron's 17 Again.

I spent my whole weekend baking cupcakes for my friend's party and my niece's 3rd birthday at Jollibee (Every kid loves Jollibee!). People in our house are already used to the smell of fresh cupcakes just came out from an oven and even the mess that I make at our kitchen while baking them. hehehe I wasn't able to take a picture of my friend's cupcakes because of lack of time. =(
